    Simple Carrot and Orange Juice

Quick to make and simply refreshing, this carrot and orange juice can be made in under 20 minutes and is a beautiful blend of Beta-carotene and Vitamin C.

Carrots are a good source of vitamin K, vitamin, iron, potassium, and more. Oranges are great as a snack, contain vitamin C, and are good for a healthy immune system.

For a healthy body, it is important to eat fruits as vegetables in their unprocessed form. However, juicing them every now and then is absolutely fine as long as it does not become a replacement for eating the fruits.

Making juice at home is also much healthier than buying packaged juice as these can contain extra ingredients you do not need or simply do not want to be drinking.

Other drinks you may love are soursop juice, mango smoothie, or this tangerine, sugarcane, and pineapple juice.

    Ingredients

You will need oranges and carrots for this recipe. If both ingredients are very sweet, then you can add a dash of lemon or lime juice to get even better-tasting juice.

    Ingredients for carrot orange juice

    Instructions

If you have a juicer then this is as simple as using that to extract the juice. The alternative is to extract the juice from the oranges using a juicer and then process the carrots in a blender, pass the grated or blended carrots through a sieve and catch the juice from that.

    Substitutions & Variations

    • Tangerines - instead of oranges, you can use tangerines.
    • Turmeric - add a touch of grated turmeric to this juice to improve this juice.
    • Ginger - a little bit of ginger makes this carrot and orange juice taste even better.

    Storage

Consume as quickly as possible and keep the rest refrigerated for at most one day.

    Tip

Unfortunately, it is not always easy to tell whether your oranges are going to be sweet. Sometimes, even the carrots may not have the sweetness you hope to find. If the end resulting juice is not sweet enough for you then you may add a bit of honey to counter the acidity.
